Point Of View

There are a lot of points of views in the book, My Sister's Keeper due to the fact that there are different narrators in this book. These narrators are Brain, Anna, Jesse, Kate, and Sara Fitzgerald, Campbell Alexander, and Julia Romano.

Sara's chapter mostly consists of the past, because the things she did in her past changed not only her and her husbands life however, also her children's.

Jodi Picoult, uses several points of view because each story comes with different perspectives. An example of a different perspective is Anna, she knew that she was born to become a donor to Kate, however, her feelings in the book shows the reader how she feels, and how she just wants to be a normal teenage girl.

In the book the main event is Anna's law suit, however, you are given an insight in to a family that has been wrecked by cancer. By all the points of views added to the story from each character, the reader gets a clearer understanding on what is going on, and the feelings of all.
